Sharon’s story

Sharon’s world fell apart two years ago after her mother died and her father abandoned them. It left her alone to raise her sisters, Nimu* and Mona*, who were eight and two weeks old at the time. Sharon was in her last year of high school and planned to go to university to study law. Through the support of SOS Children’s Villages in Kenya, she has found a way to continue her education while her siblings, now 10 and two years old, are well cared for.
